Sofia Galas

Sofia Galas is a Dubai-based singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist whose work draws on the квартирник — the Soviet-era tradition of intimate, unadorned live performance. She writes original music shaped by themes of exile and nostalgia, translating displacement into quiet, close-quarters concert experiences, alongside jazz vocal performances that showcase her range as an interpreter. Sofia's performances favor closeness over spectacle as a return to music as something shared in a room, not projected across a stage.
